About Heather

Hi, I’m Heather Schwartz! A Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing telehealth therapy for adults in California and Washington.

Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, reflective individuals whose lives appear stable from the outside but feel more complicated internally. You may have meaningful work, supportive relationships, and a life you’ve worked hard to build, yet still find yourself feeling disconnected from yourself, uncertain about your reactions, or constantly questioning your own experience.

Therapy offers space to slow down and understand what is happening beneath the surface.

My Approach to Therapy

My approach to therapy is reflective, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity.

Rather than focusing only on symptoms or quick solutions, therapy becomes a space to explore the deeper patterns shaping your emotional life, relationships, and sense of self. Many people come to therapy because they want a clearer understanding of themselves and the experiences that have shaped them.

Together we work to understand emotional patterns, build greater self-trust, and create space for more clarity in your life and relationships.

My Background

Before becoming a therapist, I studied contemporary art and painting. I spent years exploring the intersection of creativity, human behavior, and social systems. That experience continues to shape how I approach therapy today. I see therapy as a thoughtful process of reflection and understanding rather than something focused solely on fixing problems.

Over the years I have worked in a variety of settings supporting people through grief, life transitions, and periods of emotional uncertainty. These experiences reinforced my belief that people often benefit most from having space to slow down, think deeply about their lives, and develop a stronger relationship with themselves.

Who I Work With

I work primarily with thoughtful adults navigating anxiety, internal disconnection, relationship patterns, and periods of reflection about their lives.

Many of the people I work with are women and LGBTQ+ adults who value self-awareness and want a deeper understanding of themselves and their emotional patterns.

Therapy offers a place to explore these experiences with care and intention.
